Lead

Mike is a former Marine Ground Intelligence Officer who served as a Scout Sniper Platoon Commander, Advisor to the Afghan National Army and member of the Office of Defense Representative - Pakistan liaison team to Central Command.

Having realized the importance of storytelling to culture, he left Active Duty in 2012 and came to New York to become a filmmaker.  Finding camaraderie with other veterans on set he helped to found Tomahawk Pictures.

Daniel’s first experience in live sound was as an onstage guitarist in South Carolina. After a few years of playing music, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2008. After the Marines, he attended the Institute of Audio Research in 2013 and began working in sound for short films.

His recent work as a Location Sound Recordist has been in daytime television, late night shows, sports, and reality television on Dr. Oz, The View, The Meredith Vieira Show, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (now with Trevor Noah), All American Makers, and NFL's Game Day Morning.

Caleb is the head producer at Tomahawk Pictures and manages operations. He is also a NY-based actor.

Caleb was a Marine Corps infantry officer with two combat tours in Iraq and two years running the Marine Corps Shooting Team out of Quantico, Virginia. After leaving the Marines, he found acting as a creative outlet and started creating short films. His recent credits include the Amazon series Red Oaks, Limitless on CBS, and Feed the Beast on AMC.

Matthew Thomas Burda is a former U.S. Air Force Security Forces Airmen who worked detainee operations in Afghanistan, base security in Iraq, and security at Kuwait City International Airport.

Matthew is a producer and actor. Producer credits include Comfort Women: A New Musical (Off-Broadway), Green Card: A New Musical (Off-Broadway), Interview: A New Musical (Off-Broadway) and The Restaurant by Hayride Films. He is a City College of NY graduate in Theater, a founding Board Member for the Society of Artistic Veterans, and recently completed a fellowship in the Marketing Department at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.

Justine currently serves as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves in New York City. During her active duty time, she deployed to Afghanistan and embedded hundreds of media journalists to cover operations throughout Helmand province.
She was hired onto the staff of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart in 2013 and has since continued under The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. She has performed stand-up, improv, and sketch comedy throughout the city.

Zac is a former Air Force Combat Communications specialist under the USAF Space Command with tours of duty with the 64th Air Expeditionary Group in Eskan Village, Saudi Arabia for Operation Southern Watch, 51st Fighter Wing in Osan AFB, South Korea, and the 422nd Air Base Group at RAF Croughton, United Kingdom. After leaving active duty in 2004 in the UK, Zac took on an internship with the BBC in North Wales and began working in the camera department for documentary film and television. Currently in NYC, he works as a cinematographer and colorist on both documentary and scripted narrative.

A native of West Virginia, Jason enlisted in the Marine Corps at the age of 18. After traveling the world in the Corps, he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre. In 2007, it was on to New York City to learn all aspects of the Film and Television industry. Since then, Jason has been producing and working technically on productions for Film, Television, and Web-based content. He is a Creative Producer who is technically sound in all departments of production.

Paul is a Marine Corps veteran, writer, director, experienced nacho eater, and is currently learning the violin. He frequently works as a freelance ghostwriter and marketing consultant, regularly works in TV commercial production, and has written numerous military humor articles for taskandpurpose.com and uniformstories.com. He wrote and directed a television comedy pilot, Vetted, that is currently being pitched to several networks and can be viewed online on his YouTube channel, VettedTV.

Neath served as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy from '99-'09 completing three combat tours in Iraq. He continues his service to the country in the United States Navy Reserves attached to the 4th Marine.  After leaving active duty Neath enrolled at Old Dominion University to pursue his passion for the arts. His experiences on stage at ODU led to his move to New York City the summer of 2010 where he received a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with focuses in theater arts, international studies, and writing for the stage from Marymount Manhattan College in 2013.  After college Neath experienced the film industry first hand working as a staff production assistant on the Amy Schumer comedy, Trainwreck and the Amy Poehler Will Ferrell comedy The House.  He has also worked as a 2nd Assistant Director on Help! My Gumshoes an Idiot and as a 1st Assistant Director on the award winning military themed short film, Tango on the Balcony.

Mahmood Samadi was serving as the director of the Cycling Federation of Baghlan province in Afghanistan when he decided to become a security guard for the Dutch Military. He soon realized his language skills would be better used as an interpreter and began to work for the US Government. After serving as a linguist with the 82 nd Airborne Division, 6th Marine Regiment, and US Intelligence / Law Enforcement Units for eight years, Mahmood now works with his fellow veterans as a story analyst and translator.

Brian Iglesias is a combat decorated Marine Infantry Officer turned media professional.  After serving 14 years of Active Duty, Brian transitioned to the Reserves in order to pursue a career in media and entertainment.  In 2009 he began producing independent films and live television and distributed his projects across the spectrum of international channels: theatrical, TV, DVD, digital, etc.  Brian now serves as Director of Media and Entertainment at Verizon, where he drives strategy and business development in music, gaming, and digital video products and services.  He is currently a lead in content acquisition for Verizon's new OTT video service "Go90".

Brian obtained his film degree from Temple University and hold his MBA from Syracuse University.  He is currently on the Producer's Council of the Producer's Guild of America.
